Linking your Gmail account is an easy way to earn additional weekly points for your e-receipts! Simply sign into your email account through the Pogo app and syncing will occur automatically. If you're having any trouble linking your account, check out some common scenarios, along with the recommended troubleshooting steps below.
1. I keep getting an "invalid credentials" message.
We love password management tools as much as you do! Unfortunately, sometimes invisible characters (spaces) will end up in your password field during the autofill process causing your password to be interpreted as invalid. Be sure to try manually typing in your password if you encounter this error.
We also recommend changing your password to be 100% sure that you are entering the correct and most up to date information.
2. I am getting an "endless" loading screen after entering my credentials
There are two issues that we often see trigger this scenario:
- You don't have 2-step verification set up in your Gmail account
To enable 2-step verification:
- Open your Gmail app
- Tap the profile icon in the upper right corner of the screen
- Go to Security
- If you don't see that 2-step verification is enabled, enable it
- You need to open your Gmail account to signal that you authorize linking your account to a 3rd party platform. We've noticed that some devices can't seem to resolve this without the manual step. You don't need to close the Pogo app. Once you have reached the loading screen, open your Gmail app. Many users see a verification email or screen that needs to be acknowledged. Go back to the Pogo app and you should see that you've advanced to setting up your app-specific password.

It’s got the wrong Gmail on my account and I’m trying to put the right one but it keep putting the wrong one on this. Is my Gmail right here barrinojuanita04@gmail.com b But I It G Got juanitabarrino04@gmail.com which is wrong and it won’t let me change it. Could you please help me with that too, please
