CCPA and General Data Privacy Requests

In accordance with applicable U.S. privacy law, and depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside, you may be able to exercise certain data rights regarding your personal information. Please complete the form linked at the bottom of this article to submit your request. For more information about these rights, please see our Privacy Policy.

The information you provide in the form, if needed, will facilitate your Data Subject Right request. If you do not provide the information requested in the form, we may not be able to identify you and process your request. Any information you provide will not be used, disclosed, or retained for any purpose other than processing your request. Pogo supports the following types of requests to exercise your Data Subject Rights, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to Delete
• Right to Know/Access
• Right to Correct
• Right to Opt-out of Sale or Sharing
• Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

You can actually make some of these requests through the app:

Right to Delete

1. Navigate to the menu icon in the top left corner of the Pogo app
2. Tap Data Dividends & Controls and scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Select Delete My Account
4. Once the deletion process is completed (allow 7 days for processing - you’ll receive a final email to confirm that your account and information was deleted)

Right to Opt-out of Sale or Sharing

• Website Cookie-Based “Sales” & Targeted Advertising Opt Outs:
  • Visit our Cookie Management Tool (located at the bottom left corner of joinpogo.com) to manage your cookie preferences. 

Note: This does not apply to your use of our mobile applications and this opt out is browser-specific. You must reset your preferences if you clear cookies or use a different browser or device.

• Mobile Application (SDKs & Other Online Tracking) “Sales” & Targeted Advertising Opt Outs:
  • Pogo is a rewards program that relies on the exchange of information in order to provide you with Rewards. Online tracking technologies are essential to the exchange of such information and without tracking technologies, Pogo is unable to continue to provide the Service to you.
  • If you would like to exercise your right to opt-out as it relates to the use of SDKs and other tracking technologies in the Pogo mobile applications, you will have to delete your Pogo account (either by submitting the form below or following the ‘Right to Delete’ instructions above.)

Data Dividends “Sales” & Targeted Advertising Opt Outs

• To opt out of the sharing of the Personal Information you've shared with Pogo for market research and/or targeted advertising under the Data Dividends Program, visit the Data Dividends Control Center in the Pogo app and use the toggles* to reflect your preferences.

Note: Your earnings from Pogo are a direct result of the information you choose to share for Data Dividends. If you opt out of Data Dividends, you will not be able to access certain app features, like receipt scanning or linking your retailer accounts.

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information

1. Navigate to the menu icon in the top left corner of the Pogo app.
2. Tap Data Dividends & Controls and scroll past the Data Dividends section.
3. Use the Health Data and Other Sensitive Data toggles* to reflect your preferences for our collection and use of your Sensitive Personal Information.

Note: Opting out of any of these settings does not delete any Sensitive Personal Information we’ve already collected from you. To delete your information, you will have to delete your Pogo account (either by submitting the form below or following the ‘Right to Delete’ instructions above)

*Green Toggle = Opted In

Finally, please be advised that the following will occur upon deletion of your account: 

• Any points you have earned will immediately expire and cannot be cashed out
• You will not be able to create a new Pogo account - you will need to get in touch with support for assistance
• If you decide to reactivate your account, you will begin with a zero point balance, you will have to re-link any accounts you had linked previously, and you will not be eligible for the new-user bonuses again
